Lauren Pastrana is an experienced Multimedia journalis that currently worked at CBS Miami. The Emmy nominated reporter joined CBS Miami in 2012 and she currently co-anchor the CSB4 News This Morning that airs Monday to Friday, from 4:30 am to 7 am. She has a broad experience reporting news in Television, web based and radio news reporting. She believes that everybody has some stories to tell. She is determined to inspire and inform others to make a good impacts in their communities.

Lauren Pastrana had her early education at Dade Christian School and Pine Crest School. She proceeded to University of Florida to obtain her Bachelor of Science in Telecommunication -News in 2008. She graduated as one of the best in the class of her success was recognize with the Four Year Scholar Award. While in school, she worked at WUFT (TV), where she was among the pioneer team that birth the Spanish-language web-based news service. She was also a Communication Ambassador then.^[2][12]

After graduating from the University of Florida, she worked as a Reporter at iHeartMedia between June 2006 and September 2010.

She anchored the News Radio 610 WIOD during her two years stay at iHeartMedia and left for WINK News in 2010.

She resumed at WINK News at Fort Myers, Florida Area as a Reporter and a Fill-in-anchor and she was there for another two years.

Lauren Pastrana joined CSC Miami as a Reporter in April, 2012, She did double duty because she also anchors the morning news at Newsradio 610 WIOD as the Morning. She stopped this after she was confirmed a fulltime weekday evening reporter on CBS4.

Lauren Pastrana already had more than 10 years experience in web-based, television and radio news reporting.

She has been opportune to cover series of events which range from crime to hurricanes, political corruption and historic death like that of Fidel Castro.

Her passion about story telling makes her flexible enough to cover almost everything because she loves to put her attention more into positive stories and when ordinary people do the extraordinary and unexpected things.^[1][2][12]

She loves reading and spending more time with her family and Diasy, the family dog.

Lauren has about 52,5 thousand followers on Facebook because extensively used the platform for her reporting, She is also present on Twitter and Instagram where she has 8.4 thousand followers and about 4 thousand followers respectively.^[13][14][15]
