Lauren Landavazo

Lauren Landavazo was a 13-year-old from Wichita Falls, Texas. She was a student at McNiel Middle School.

On September 2, 2016 Lauren Lanadavazo was fatally shot by Kody Austin Lott while walking home from school. Kody also shot her friend Makayla Smith.

A gunman shot Lauren and Makalya as they walked home from school at around 3 p.m in, the 5100 block of Kingston Drive a quiet suburban residential area in Wichita Falls.

After the shooting the girls were rushed to the United Regional Hospital where Lauren died from her injuries.

Makayla survived and was in stable condition.
