Early Life
Lauren Hashian was born and raised in Lynnfield, Massachusetts, Massachusetts, USA. Her father, John 'Sib' Hashian, was the drummer for the rock band Boston. Her mother, Suzanne Hashian, is a former Dallas Playboy Club Bunny. [2]
Career
Following in her father's footsteps, Lauren Hashian developed a passion for music and became a singer and songwriter.
In 2005, she was a finalist on the UPN show R U That Girl, hosted by TLCmembersT-Boz andChilli. She was eliminated in the fourth episode. [15]
Later in her career, Lauren co-wrote the song, “Only You” for hip-hop artist, YaBoi Shad; she sings the hook of the track with her sister Aja. [3]
In 2017, she sang and appeared in Walter French's music video for "Go Hard". [10]

Lauren met Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson in 2006 when he was in Boston filming for the sports comedy film The Game Plan. The two weren't officially dating until the following year. [2]
In September 2015, it was announced that they would be having their first child.
[16] On December 16, 2015, their daughter Jasmine Johnson was officially born.
On April 23, 2018, Johnson announced the birth of his second child with Hashian; her name is Tiana.
To mark her first wedding anniversary with Dwayne Johnson, Hashian released a song.
She first shared the track, "Step Into a Love Like This," which she describes as "the most personal and rewarding song" she's ever written, privately on her wedding day on Aug. 18, 2019.
In an Instagram post introducing the song, she wrote:
"One year ago today on our wedding day August 18, 2019, I was able to share this song with my man I now call my husband in front of our little girls and our family & friends.
It was an honor and a gift to reflect on our life and love then and I truly can’t believe the things that we’ve been able to share in our lifetime."[45]
She wrote and recorded the track two weeks before marrying Johnson.
In her post celebrating the song's release, Hashian also shared a warm anniversary message for her partner:
"Today I want to say Happy Anniversary to you my love :), with a heart FULL of absolute gratitude @therock and a soul full of love.

The Mike Zombie-produced track was written by Hashian and artists Naz Tokio, Mike Zombie, and James Kang. It was mixed by Erik Madrid. [45]

Father's Death
On March 22, 2017, Lauren Hashian's father, Sib Hashian, died of a heart attack.
He was performing on stage when he collapsed after having a heart attack.
