Lauren Goode is an Editor of The Verge. She also cohosts "Too Embarrassed" on Recode radio. ^[1] Goode lives in Palo alto.

Goode earned her undergraduate degree in English from Clark University in Worcester, and also has a masters in communications from Stanford University.

Prior to becoming Managing Editor of Reviews and Product Coverage, Lauren Goode covered and reviewed consumer technology products for Recode and, previous to that, at AllThingsD. Before that, she worked as a multimedia producer and reporter at the Wall Street Journal Digital Network from 2008 to 2011. There, Lauren helped launch its live-streaming video programming and produced and co-hosted the daily “Digits” technology show.

She started her career in media working from the ground up in cable television, most notably at A&E Networks and ESPN in New York.
