Lauren is currently the Research Director for the DNC.

She previously worked as the deputy research director from 2011-2012.

She also worked as a senior research associate from 2011-12 and started at the DNC in 2009 as a research associate.

In emails released by WikiLeaks, Lauren Dillon provided CNN anchors Wolf Blitzer and Jake Tapper with questions they wanted asked to Donald Trump and Ted Cruz during television interviews. [undefined]

An email dated 28 April 2016 email exchange between DNC research director Lauren Dillon and some other Democratic officials and staff members titled "Cruz on CNN" mentioned that CNN was looking for questions to ask Senator Ted Cruz in an upcoming interview.

In an earlier email dated 25 April 2016, Dillon requested questions for an interview that Donald Trump was supposed to have with CNN's lead political anchor Wolf Blitzer.
