Laura Eastwood was a resident of Henderson, Kentucky. ^[2]She was married to Kyle Eastwood and had two children. ^[2]

On February 16, 2017, Laura and Kyle Eastwood were both found dead by Laura's father around 6:50 p.m. at their apartment at the Green Leaf Pointe Apartment complex on U.S. 60 in an apparent murder-suicide. ^[2]

Evidence at the scene indicated that Kyle shot and killed his wife with a .357 revolver and then turned the gun on himself. ^[2]

Prior to her death, Kyle and Laura had a history of domestic disputes with each other, with authorities having been called to their residence before. ^[2]
