Lambo V12 Vision Gran Turismo

Lambo V12 Vision Gran Turismo is Lamborghini's Vision GT car, simply known as the Lambo V12. The car was revealed at the Gran Turismo Championship World Finals in Monaco.

Available Spring 2020

The Lambo V12 Vision Gran Turismo has made its debut ahead of the World Finals of the 2019 FIA Certified Gran Turismo Championships taking place in Monte Carlo, Monaco and will enable players to experience the ‘fun to drive’ in the iconic racing game Gran Turismo Sport for PlayStation 4, where it will be virtually available from spring 2020.

Based on the same hybridised V12 as the Sián, which mates a supercapacitor to the Aventador’s 12 cylinder block, the difference is that for this design Lamborghini has taken a scalpel to the bodywork that surrounds it for a concept that is as much about what isn’t there as what is.

There is no actual hood on the V12 VGT; there’s just an elongated cockpit, massive fenders, and a large split-wing that houses an equally large Y-shaped taillight.

AeroDynamics

The fighter jet-like design is also a product of some serious weight loss.

According to Lambo, the V12 VGT weighs only 819 kilos (1,805 pounds.Lamborghini

further expressed its dedication to sophisticated aerodynamics while integrating performance surfaces and mind-blowing design: a large wing housing a significant Y-taillight dominating the rear, the main body disconnected from the fenders, hexagon-inspired theme in the side windows inspired by the Lamborghini Marzal from 1968, and the typical Lamborghini Y-signature for both front and rear lights. The Gandini Line profile is still present and correct after this crash diet, but all four corners have been disconnected, leaving a floating, fighter jet inspired monoposto. According to Sant’Agata Bolognese’s calculations the Lambo V12 weighs 819 kilos, flirting with the mythical one-to-one power to weight ratio.
