Ladd Erickson is a prosecutor in North Dakota.
He graduated from University of North Dakota School of Law.

Controversy
In October 2016, Ladd tried to charge Amy Goodman, a reporter for Democracy Now, two different misdemeanor charges for her involvement covering protests of the planned Dakota Access Pipeline.
The judge, John Grinsteiner, refused to sign off on either of the charges he attempted to make.
Goodman's report was seen by millions and picked up by mainstream news organizations.
The Obama administration subsequently stopped the project's progress through public land in the wake of controversy over the protests with pepper spray and attack dogs being deployed on protestors by private security contractors.
Press organizations protested the attempted charges.
