Biography
Early Life
Born and raised in Florida, he grew up in the neighborhood of Miami Gardens. [2]He was a motherless boy who was mostly raised by his aunt and uncle - Cowanda Jones-Johnson, and Richard Johnson. [2]When he was 5 years old, his mother passed away leaving for his aunt and uncle to rear little La David Johnson. [10]
Some of the things that he enjoyed as a little kid were doing tricks with his bicycle and befriending people in the neighborhood.
He was remembered as being called "wheelie King" for the way that he would ride his bike and do tricks with only one wheel.
He is a graduate of Carol City High School. [3]
Education
LaDavid studied to obtain his Automotive Service Technician certificate from ATI Career Training Center.

During his teenage years, it is said that he managed a hot dog cart he worked very hard to maintain.

Marriage
On August 22nd, 2014, Myeshia Johnson and LaDavid. [18]The couple have two children together. Their children are 2 and 6 years old. Myeshia is expecting their third child. [7]
U.S. Army
On January, 2014, he joined the U.S.
Army and became a Wheeled Vehicle Mechanic.
[2]After making it through the ranks, he was assigned to the 3rd Special Forces Group (Airborne) at the Fort Bragg military base in North Carolina. [10] [4]

Casket Of Sgt. La David T. Johnson Arrives At Miami International Airport.
On October 17th, 2017, on the day that Sgt. Johnson's body returned to the United States from Niger via Miami airport, his wife received a call from President Donald Trump where he gave the late widow his condolences about the death of her husband. [3]
Among the things that the president said to her, one statement was insensitive enough to seep into the public.
Trump said to his wife that Sgt. Johnson, "Know what he signed up for".
[2]As a witness to the words that was said by Trump during the moments when he called Johnson's wife, Rep. Frederica Wilson, took to the media and the public how Sgt. Johnson's family has been negatively affected by the insensitive words of the president. Wilson was inside of the car when Sgt. Johnson's wife received the call from the president. [12]

A viewing will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m., Friday, and a funeral service from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., Saturday.
Both will be at Christ The Rock Church, 11000 Stirling Rd., Cooper
City. Johnson will be buried at Hollywood Memorial Gardens.
