Kyle Kennedy is a 22-year-old prisoner at the maximum security Souza-Baranowski Correctional Center. He is currently on suicide watch after his lover, Aaron Hernandez, killed himself.

Kennedy grew up in Uxbridge, MA where his father, Matthew was a businessman. His parents divorced and his father remarried to a woman named Deborah. When Kyle was not in prison, he enjoyed racing motocross, customizing cars, and anything that has to do with the outdoors.

In January of 2015, Kennedy was arrested for robbing a Cumberland Farms in Northbridge, Massachusetts. Using a black mask and a butcher style knife, Kennedy managed to steal $189 from the convenience store before speeding off on Rte. 146 in a red sedan. Police caught and booked Kyle in jail overnight Sunday and Monday due to the Martin Luther King Jr. Holiday.

That Monday evening, Kennedy requested to make a phone call - his second that day – and when an officer began dialing the number, he allegedly fled out the sally port door.

Police pursued Kennedy through three residential yards until he eventually gave up on Edgemere Avenue.

Although his father originally bailed him out, $12,500 of his $125,000 surety, he changed his mind in September of 2015 after Kyle ran away from his counseling program and went back to using heroin.

Kennedy was charged with armed and masked robbery but in a deal, he agreed to plead guilty to the lower charge of armed robbery.

He was sentenced to 3-5 years in state prison in December 2015.

Kyle was first held at Cedar Junction Maximum Security Prison before being transferred to Souza-Baranowski.

In his WriteAPrisoner.com profile, he says that he works out, reads books, and writes to pass the time. In addition, Kyle is working to get his barber's license in prison and lists his sexual orientation as straight.

Kennedy was Aaron Hernandez's prison lover and Aaron requested that they share a cell together. Kennedy was the last person to see Hernandez before he committed suicide. ^[1] Hernandez gave Kennedy's family member a $50,000 watch as well as other belongings prior to his death. Kennedy was also one of three people who Hernandez wrote suicide notes for. Kennedy was on suicide watch for six days after his death but has since been taken off.
