Kyle Griffin is a writer and producer at MSNBC. He is presently a producer of The Last Word with Lawrence O'Donnell, an hour-long weeknight news and political commentary program. He lives in Manhattan, New York City. ^[2]

Kyle Griffin grew up in Upstate New York as a child.^[7] He graduated from The College of Saint Rose in Albany, New York in 2008, where he majored in Communications and English. He also holds an MPS degree from The George Washington University in Strategic Public Relations, Class of 2010. ^[1]

Griffin's first job was in 2008, working as a production assistant at WNYT situated in the Albany, New York area. He left in 2012 to work for the Seven Network in Sydney, Australia, but returned to MSNBC in 2015. ^[1]

He presently covers issues that affect the LGBTQ community.^[7]

Griffin is an outspoken critic of President Donald Trump on Twitter. ^[2]

On October 3, 2015, Kyle Griffin married Steve Meares in Townsville, Australia. (They met through a mutual friend in Manhattan, New York.)^[9]
