Kryz Uy (born January 10, 1990) is a Travel junkie and a writer who founded the lifestyle blog Thristythought. She chronicles everything from her daily travel adventures, beauty finds, inspirations and more. She has contributed to publications such as candy, Preview, Philippine Daily Inquirer and more.

She was born on January 10, 1990 in the Philippines and has lived in Cebu City. She graduated from the Ateneo de Manila University, where she took up Bachelor of Science in Management major in Communications Technology Management, minor in Enterprise Development.

She has also studied Luxury Brand Management in Mod’Art International, Paris; Fashion Design at the School of Fashion and the Arts, Manila; Basic French at Alliance Francaise, Manila; and Ballet at Balletcenter, Cebu.

She originally started her blog as a school project in 2009 and continued doing it because she loved it so much.^[9][1]

Kryz’s blog, started as a 2009 project at the Ateneo de Manila University, where she majored in Communication Technology Management with a minor in Enterprise Development. Her sartorial adventures, beauty discoveries, inspirations and misadventures soon accumulated a following in both cyberspace and real life.

Additionally, she has been featured in global publications.

As she travels and writes, meeting new people, she continues to create authentic content for her followers

She has contributed for various publications including Candy, Preview, Philippine Daily Inquirer, Mega, Lifestyle Asia, Meg, Chalk and many more.

She has also been featured in numerous glossies all over the globe and is currently ranked among the top bloggers in the Philippines.

She began dating Slater Young in 2015; they became engaged in February 2018 and finally got married in February 2019. Kryz Uy and her Model-entrepreneur husband, Slater Young welcomed their first child on June 2, 2020. Uy made the announcement through an Instagram^[11] post five days since she actually gave birth.

Kryz Uy, being one of the one of the top bloggers in Philippines has gathered a large fan base and followers throughout all her social media accounts. She currently has 84.4k followers on Twitter and 788k followers on Instagram.^[7][8]

She also have a YouTube channel with 394k subscribers despite joining in mid 2019. ^[12]
