Kristina "Tina" Kresnik (b. 1970), also known Tina Rupčić, is Croatian singer, best known as one of the vocalists of Parni Valjak rock band.
She was born as Kristina Kresnik in Zagreb. She began her career in early 1990s as vocalist of Maxmett. Croatia's first female heavy metal band. From 1995 she began performing as back vocalist with Parni valjak band and recorded their concert album Bez struje: Live in ZeKaeM. On band's next album Snovi teku uzvodno she recorded duet with lead singer Aki Rahimovski titled Dok je tebe. She recorded another duet with Rahimovski titled Srcokrad for 2000 album Zastave.
In 2001 she recorded her first solo album Prvi put, with most of the songs being written by Marijan Brkić Brk.
In 2009 she, together with Dražen Scholz formed band DOG Cantina.
Private Life
She was married to Croatian musician Hrvoje Rupčić for thirteen years.
Couple had two sons - Jakov and Noa.
The marriage broke down after she caught her husband in extramarital relationship with actress Zrinka Cvitešić.[1]
