Kristin Thorne is a well-known American television personality who works as a reporter for WABC-TV Channel 7 Eyewitness News in New York. She joined the station in January 2012 but prior to that, she was a reporter at News 12 Westchester. Again before that, she worked at WHTM-TV ABC 27 in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania,. Kristin has shown up on national morning news projects including ABC’s Good Morning America and CBS The Early Show. She is likewise a standard in-studio visitor on 103.9FM LI News Radio.[5][6]
Education and Early Life
Kristin graduated magna cum laude from Georgetown University in Washington, D.C. between in 2004 and she also earned her Master's degree in broadcast journalism from the prestigious Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University in 2005. She is the recipient of an Emmy Award and has received numerous Emmy nominations.[2]
Career
Kristin Thorne is currently a Long Island correspondent for WABC-TV's Eyewitness News. Before joining WABC, she has worked as a reporter and Bereau Chief at ABC 27 WHTM between September 2007 and September 2009 after which she left for News 12 Westchester. She was a reporter at Westchester for 1 year and 7 months (Oct 2009 to April, 2011).

Personal Life
Throne, when she's not busy working, enjoys taking dance class, studying Spanish, and traveling. Kristin loves being involved with the Long Island community. She is on the leadership council of Big Brothers, Big Sisters of Long Island and volunteers with the Society of St. Vincent de Paul and Little Shelter Animal Rescue and Adoption Center.
Marriage
She is married to her longtime boyfriend, Brian.
The couple who have really maintained their relationship currently live happily on Long Island together with their three children, James, Vivienne and Olivia and their “home police”, Corgi Max.
