Stone earned her Bachelor’s Degree of Business Administartion in Supply Chain Management from Texas A&M, graduating Magna cum laude in 3 years and making the Dean’s list (5 semesters). ^[1]

During college, Stone was a Supply Chain Intern at Oxy.

^[1]After graduating, she worked for them full-time as a Supplier Quality Management Advisor and helped them save $20M+ in 2013 by creating processes for users to track performance on a continuous basis.

Stone first heard about Bitcoin from a Stuff You Should Know Podcast in early 2013. ^[0]After listening to the podcast, she tried to learn everything about Bitcoin such as hashing power, private keys, potential impact, etc. ^[0]Once she realized that Bitcoin was her passion, she applied for a job at Coinbase which required analyzing data and moved to San Francisco from Houston not long after. ^[0]

In September 2014, Stone joined Coinbase as their Head of financial institutions partnerships. ^[1]She has managed integrations with major financial institutions such as USAA and Fidelity Charitable. ^[1]
