Career
She was named to Irish America's Magazine's Top 100 list and was chosen as one of the "Top 50 Irish American Power Women" and "Top Media 30".
She was also honored as Hofstra University's Alumni of the Month.
She covered NY1’s breaking news shift for more than 20 years and was there when the first tower fell on September 11th.
The series she produced and edited for the 15th anniversary of the September 11th attacks won an NYS Associated Press Award.
Her live report as the first tower fell is used by college professors in their journalism classes.
Kristen created Spectrum’s “Acts of Kindness.”
