Konsus is a Norwegian startup that outsources on-demand freelancers for office-related tasks.
Companies request an office task like graphic design, data entry, or lead generation to be done and they instantly assign a freelancer (based on skill and availability) to do it for them.

Company Success
In March 2016, a Konsus representative said it has grown 10 percent weekly since its launch, has $55,000 in revenue with a 40 percent gross margin.

On July 19, 2016, Konsus partnered with Slack, an instant messaging app for co-workers to chat and share files with each other.
Konsus's project managers and customers use it to discuss projects and assign tasks to freelancers.
Funding
Their first major investment was from Y Combinator in November 2015; they received $120,000.
One year later, Konsus participated in YC's winter batch and raised $1.5 million.
Geoff Ralston, Paul Buchheit, Liquid2 Ventures, Acequia Capital, Elizabeth Iorns and Axan Invest all participated in the round.
