Ko Hyojoo is a user interface designer for a messaging app called LINE Korea. she is also a world famous Korean Longboarder who has traveled all over the world.

Hyojoo took up longboarding sometime in 2014 as a way to learn a new fun hobby while working her 9-5 job for a Tech company in South Korea. She took the practice seriously and little over a year was beginning to master complicated moves. After three years, she has been invited to skate all over the world to do demos.

Hyojoo is beloved for her style of riding the board like a dance, making the moves look simple to do.

She has mastered some of her favorite moves, the “nollie-shuvit,” which is a spin of the board 180 degrees by pressing her foot down on the front of the board.

Or attempting feats like the “nose-manual,” where she tries to balance the board on its front two wheels.
