Kirk Figueroa is a 33-year-old man who resides in Boston. ^[0]He was a self-described bounty hunter with mixed-martial arts training.

He is a former member of an Army Reserve military police unit.

On the night of October 12th, Officers Matthew Morris and Richard Cintolo responded to a domestic disturbance call at 136 Gladstone St. When police arrived at the scene they encountered a man saying a person inside the building threatened him with a machete.

When police entered the building, Kirk, who was wearing tactical gear and holding a shotgun, fired at the two officers.

Officers outside heard the gunshot and immediately ran inside to neutralize Figueroa and get the wounded officers out of the building.

Figueroa died at the scene.
