King Von (born August 9, 1994) is a rapper.

ORIGIN

King Von is an exceptional rapper from Chicago, Illinois. He's known for standout sound and songs like "Issues", "War Wit Us" and "Insane Story." He's currently signed to Lil Durk k's Only The Family Records (OTF). The two grew up together. King Von was conceived as Dayvon Bennett on August 9, 1994, in Chicago, Illinois. He reps O'Block, the 6400 block of South Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Drive. Preceding rapping, Von spent over 6 years in jail. He dealt with tough indictments, for example, murder and attempted murder.

CAREER

King Von began his rap career in 2018. He's an individual from the OTB collective headed by his good friend Lil Durk. His OTB labelmates incorporate Chief Wuk, Booka600, Hypno Carlito and Yung Tory. Rapper Lud Foe was a previously part of the crew. In June 2018, King Von showed up on the track "Beat Dat Body" by THF Bay Zoo. His solo track "Problems" dropped in July 2018. It was featured on Lil Durk's album Lil Durk Presents: Only the Family Involved, Vol. 1 (2018). The album featured guest vocal from YFN Lucci on the Track "Dirty Diana."

Von's breakout single "War With Us" dropped in October 2018.

The accompanying music video has 3+ million views on YouTube[3]. It was shot by Jerry Production. "Crazy Story", Von's next banger, was released in December 2018. It didn't disappoint, racking up a great many streams withing the first week of its release. The official visual for Crazy Story was released as a Worldstarhiphop[2] exclusive. It was shot by A Zae Production. In March 2019, Von dropped single "Cousins" alongside JusBlow 600. A second installment of his "Crazy Story" single showed up in May 2019. It featured Lil Durk.

Regardless of being a newcomer, Von has pulled in a large number of fans across Instagram[4], Twitter[5] and other social stages. He has over 185K audience members on Spotify[1] monthly. In November 2018, he and Lil Durk showed up on The Breakfast Club (radio show)[6], facilitated by Charlamagne Tha God, Angela Yee and DJ Envy.

PERSONAL

King Von’s height is 5 feet 9 inches and he’s of African Americans descent. He currently resides in Atlanta, Georgia. His net worth is estimated at $200 thousand USD. King Von is associated with the Black Disciples street gang. His grandfather, David Barksdale[7] (King Dave), was the founder.

Von was arrested on July 22, 2014, at age 19.

He was charged with 1 count of murder and 2 counts of attempted murder.

The shooting took place on May 29 at 5700 South LaSalle Street in Chicago, Illinois.

Malcolm Stuckey was fatally shot and two others were wounded.

Von spent roughly 3 1/2 years behind bars before he was released.

According to an interview, the up-and-coming rapper has been booked on two other occasions, spending 15 and 14 months in jail.
