Sexual Discrimination Lawsuit

On August 25th, 2016, Bracey filed a lawsuit against Mayor of Jackson, Tony Yarber for sexual harassment, and for coercing her to have sex with him in order to keep her job. [0]

She became sexually involved with Mayor Yarber in May 2014.

She had separated with her husband and moved in with city attorney Monica Joiner, who was also involved with Yarber sexually.

Later that year, she reconciled with her husband, but Mayor Yarber apparently wanted to persist the affair, “by making it clear that she could be terminated if she did not have sex with him.”

[1]

The Mayor engaged in several unethical activities with his workers including taking everyone to a strip club after a fundraiser.
