Kimberly Mironovas was an American cosmetologist was killed by her son, Lukas, and his friend William Smith. Her death happened just a year after she and her son moved in to the Maine area as part of a career change.

Kimberly Mironovas was born and raised in Andover, Maine and lived in the East Coast for most of her life. She attended Telstar Regional High School, graduating in 1988. ^[1]

After graduating from school,six months later she moved to Massachusetts.

She lived in the city of Boston and had a 13-year-old son who survives her.

She was a student at Aveda Institute Maine, a cosmetology school located in Augusta.

During the weekend of April 21-22, 2018, Lukas Mironovas and a few of his friends plotted ways to end the life of his mother, Kimberly.

Initially, the early teenagers planned to crushing prescription pills into her wine.

And, when the solution failed to dilute sufficiently in the glass of wine, they began to discuss other means of murdering Lukas' mother.

They thus discussed either stabbing her or strangling her.

Lukas wore mask, gloves, and armed himself with a knife.

He and his friend, William Smith, went inside of the bedroom and strangled her to death.

Lukas also stabbed her in the neck.

After living in Boston for years with her son, Lukas, she decided to move to Maine and start a new career as a cosmetologist.

She is remembered as being outgoing, smart, and did amazing at her craft of being a beautician.

Friends and family admit that Kimberly would often talk about Lukas' anger issues.
