Kim Vaillancourt is a pregnant woman and mother of 5 children, 3 of which were her foster children who she has recently adopted.

She lives in Buffalo, New York.

In March 2016, 48 hours after adopting the 3 sisters, Kim went to the hospital with headaches and nausesa and was diagnosed with Grade 4 glioblastoma, an aggressive form of brain tumor.

Kim had surgery to have the tumors removed, but they are expected to grow back rapidly.

Life expectancy for someone in her condition is about a year.

Kim is not having any chemotherapy or radiation until the baby, named Wyatt, is born.
