Killavesi (born January 23) is a Los Angeles-based rapper. She is a proof that young people are more on top of their shit these days than ever before. While many female rappers are grouped together, She doesn’t have to worry about blending in. Her bright pink hair has been her signature style since she began to hit the rap scene, along with her melancholy style of rapping over EDM and trap beats. Her boyfriend Adamn Killa has also been heavily apparent in her career.[1]
Early Life
Tyler otherwise known as ‘Killavesi’ was born and raised in Chicago, Tyler was subjected to and faced with the maze of gang violence to gun problems in Chicago that keeps the city’s youth at bay. Finding her escape in making music from a young age, Tyler realized Chicago wasn’t for her as she grew older and wanted to explore and see the world off the back of her music.She moved to Los Angeles, California and it really helped her career.
Immediately after finishing high school, Killavesi showed to the world that she's a proof that young people are more on top of their shit these days than ever before. While older generations love to go on about millennials’ supposedly lazy attitudes and dependence on social technologies, the fact of the matter is that we can (and do) put in more work a younger age.
She planned making song for the first time when she was in 8th grade, she formed a girl rap group with her friend Maiya when she was in Middle school and she was in Junior year, she uploaded a song to Soundcloud.
I only wrote like four bars n they were funny as hell.
Then around junior year I recorded this song called Bus Stop on my phone n posted it on Soundcloud.
It was really just about me doing stupid shit on the bus, I wrote it one day when I was at home alone n bored.
I deleted it but kind of regret that lol.
Some people I know will still bring it up because that’s the only one of my songs they know lol.
As at 2016, Killavesi’s already released a handful of quality tracks on Soundcloud, weaving her jaunty flow through an array of glittery, luxurious beats produced by the likes of H!tkidd, Mechatok, and Hi tom. With her fellow boyfriend, life long partner and rapper Adamn Killa by her side, the two of them are in a league of their own with nothing boxing them in.[2][3]
Career
Killavesi is gaining the notoriety she deserves. Streaming services can play a part in how most artists are able to stay relevant, however, the Chicago rapper managed to secure a fanbase on Soundcloud more than four years ago and streaming has only increased her popularity. Her bright pink hair has been her signature style since she began to hit the rap scene, along with her melancholy style of rapping over EDM and trap beats. Her boyfriend Adamn Killa has also been heavily apparent in her career. Described as “relationship goals” by the Fader, the two make music separately while also collaborating together occasionally.
In 2016, she released the surprisingly mature 15-track "Run & Hide" EP.
On the project, she toys with her impressively low register and in raspy-sounding verses, she raps on dark and twisted beats.
Her neutral auto-tuned melodies work well with freaky and sometimes even jarring production, making her solo work imaginative and fresh.
She had an Europe tour with her boyfriend in 2017 and the pair put out a joint project titled, Lover Not A Killa, in 2017 after the tour. Lover Not a Killa— filled with six adorably sappy and infectious love songs, the album is inspired by their relationship, but in the process has also inspired a new sonic direction for them both individually. The music video of the track "Love of My Life" which is also the premiere track on Lover Not a Killa clearly shows the chemistry between the two. [4][5]
In February 2018, Killavesi released a project titled Killa, which she describes as a “musical compilation of her 2017". After many singles, the chicago rapper delivers another mixtape TTU. Here Killavesi delivers 10 mostly new singles that turn out to be some of her best work to date. With singles like Don’t Think You Should, Regardless, and more, Killavesi drops off the must listen to tape for female hip-hop. Killavesi keeps busy, releasing her debut studio album “American Idol”. Recorded in July 2018 in Belgium, the project hits it's stride in terms of sonic’s/overall weirdness 1/3rd of the way through. [6][7]

She has a boyfriend whose name is Adamn Killa. They met more than four years ago.
