Khaliya Kimberlie is a contestant on The Voice (Season 11, Team Miley). ^[1]

Khaliya is half Native American and her father is part of the Mescalero Apache tribe. Her entire family lives on the reservation and takes care of Khaliya's 87-year-old grandmother, who speaks fluent Apache. After singing in a fifth-grade talent show, Khaliya was inspired to join choir. She has always wanted to use her music for good and performs at local benefits for women affected by Domestic violence. Much of Khaliya's desire for giving back comes from her struggles with her Sexuality. Khaliya's parents support her sexuality just as much as they support her music. ^[1]
