Khalid El-Bakraoui was a Belgian suspected criminal terrorist and previous petty criminal.

El-Bakraoui had a criminal background.

Belgian state authorities reported that El-Bakraoui was previously jailed for nine years after shooting at police during an armed robbery attempt.

He was also previously linked to the 2015 Paris Bombing Incident where authorities believe he was involved in the bomb making process.

On March 22, 2016 he killed himself in a suicide bombing in the 2016 Brussels Bombings at Maalbeek Metro station also killing over 11 people and injuring hundreds of others.
