Christina Grimmie Shooting
On June 10, 2016 he went to Christina Grimmie's Orlando, Florida show and during the autograph session he used two handguns and a hunting knife to shoot and kill Christina. Christina's brother, Mark Grimmie, tackled Loibl but he was able to shoot himself before being detained.
Police stated there were no red flags or association s with Christina Grimmie. In a press conference they released that Loibl had planned on driving home after the shooting and did not intend on committing suicide. They assume he was a deranged fan.
A letter to the family of Christina Grimmie was found on his front door of his home in St. Petersburg, Florida.
