In September 2017, Kosten was victim of an Acid attack while studying abroad at Copenhagen Business School. The attack took place at a train station in Marseilles, France on the way to Paris. The perpetrator was an insane woman. She and her friends were waiting at a train stop in a Metropolitan area when they were attacked.
