Keenan Elijah Dailey (/KEY-nan/; born July 7, 1995) is an American Graphic Designer, Filmmaker, Illustrator, Producer, Singer-Songwriter and Actor studying Graphic Design at University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. [666666]
Dailey is both an artist and researcher of aesthetic.
Through his artistic exploration Dailey seeks to uncover and unearth the hidden potential within humanistic empathy by way of the creation of sensorial experiences of any and all medium.
Dailey has not shied away from any means within the digital space in terms of getting his point across weather it be through Graphic Design, Film Production, Music Production, Videogame Development, Digital Interactivity and so on and so forth. [undefined]
Biography
Education
Raised in Peoria IL., Dailey graduated from Richwoods High-school in the spring semester of 2013 and would travel to University of illinois later that year. Dailey in his sophomore year declared Graphic Design as a major. Dailey would continue to go on to garner acceptance into the University's MFA program with a Graduate Program Fellowship from the University to study Graphic Design.

Artistic Development
Dailey began doodling and sketching in his younger years.
Dailey was a fan of comic book art and story driven imagery.
Dailey wouldn't begin to really dive into the art world until he began his study in the School of Art and Design at The University of illinois. This would be the year that Dailey would become active in his creation practices and would begin to grow his presence in the school setting and on the information highway as an artist of note.

Dailey sprang on the screen in his earlier years with a DeviantArt page, There he would post illustrative works, drawings, and sketches of all kinds of make, shape, and style. Amateurish in technique Dailey created at seemingly random intervals whether it be fan art, through, competition or original creation there was no shortage of works to be seen at this stage.In his college years Dailey would go on to study under notable Illustrator and published comic artist Stacey Robinson. With the creation of the Martin Luther King Jr. 2017 celebration piece for the University Dailey's illustrative practice would start to see a drastic evolution. [undefined] Dailey would go onto continue to do Illustrative works being featured in various physical galleries, online galleries, magazines, online publications such as Afropunk [undefined] and the Chicago Literati. Cinema
In 2016 Dailey would become a Filmmaker and subsequently founder of the production company, 7 Movements Studios. [666666] [undefined] [undefined] Dailey began his exploration into video editing and production with his YouTube Channel which he started in 2010.
It would be until Dailey took the acting class of MFA student at the time Raffeal Sears who would finally spark his passion for film.
2016 would be the year that Dailey began work on Labyrinth [undefined] [undefined] [undefined] which would be his first official short film. Dailey wrote, produced, directed and starred in this film. That year Dailey woulds go on to spearhead two more productions under 7Movements Studios.Dailey the same year would go on to make Dadaism a film accepted into Sundance.org's 2016 Project 1234 Ignite Fellowship Competition. Dailey would also create a short film "Distracted" in the same year. Dailey during this time was cast in a non-speaking role of an Regional Emmy Award-Winning documentary titled "Barns: An Illinois Story" by filmmaker Oliver Peng.
Greene
In the beginning of 2017 Dailey began to hunker down heavily on his filmmaking process.
This would be Dailey's dive into the creation of his true first "major" short "Greene".
Dailey began work on Greene in December of 2016.
In January of 2017 Dailey released a concept teaser trailer for Greene.
It would be a 5 month production process for Greene.
The film would wrap filming in May of the same year.
The film would finish production in August of 2017 and premiere at the New Art Film Festival in October 2017.
Greene would be released to the public online in February of 2017.
Music
Early 2016 Dailey would perform in the University's Cotton Club Variety Show and grace the stage in front of over a thousand audience members.
Late 2016 Dailey would produce and release his first studio album the First Decade across digital platforms.
An exploration into electronic hip-hop fusion Dailey would seek to create a peace that analyzed the relationship between "man, technology, and nature"
