Keemia Ferasat is a Los Angeles based Entrepreneur that believes in the principles of authenticity, empowerment, and inspiration. Keemia founded her own media & commerce company Style Salute with these ideals in mind. With Style Salute, she aimed to create a brand aimed at inspiring and entertaining the modern woman. At the same time, Keemia is curating a space for digitally savvy young women to explore and celebrate their personal style. Keemia also sells her own designs on her e-commerce shop Keemia.com. ^[1]

Keemia's first job included producing and selling handmade jewelry in elementary school.

Ferasat began her career as the founder of KEEMIA, a clothing line of high-end cocktail dresses sourced and manufactured in Los Angeles.

KEEMIA dresses sold in fashion-forward boutiques online and around the world, and was featured in leading publications such as ELLE, Marie Claire, Brides, Daily Candy, InTouch, Lucky and more.

A California native, Ferasat holds an M.A. in Communication Management & Business from the University of Southern California and a B.A. in Communication and Media and Media Economics from the University of Southern California.

Ferasat is also an active alumnus and mentors undergraduate students in emerging media and technology.

She is an established figure in the Iranian-American community and serves as the Los Angeles Chair of Persian Tech Entrepreneurs, a national organization dedicated to building a network of investors and technologists to support innovation among the Iranian-American community and beyond.

Looking forward, Ferasat would like to see Style Salute re-invent the way women shop and consume media.

The mission is to build a media company of this generation for that is dedicated to inspiring the modern woman to live a stylish, smarter and well-rounded life.
