Kay Sibiya is a well-respected actor, model and TV presenter from South African. He is mostly remembered for playing the role Ayanda Mdletshe, the record producer who went all out to prove to his father that he can be successful while being independent, in an SABC 1 drama series “Uzalo”. ^[1]

Kay was born in his native land which is Durban, in KwaZulu-Natal.^[2]

Kay had his high school education at Riverdene Secondary School but finished at Queensburgh Boys High School.

Both schools are located in Durban, Kwa-Zulu Natal.^[3]

Kay became famous in 2013 when he started presenting a “Sunday Chillaz” alongside Kede Mkhabela. The show is a music periodical talk show that aired on sunday afternoons on SABC 1. ^[4]

Kay stared as Kwanele on an Mzansi Magic drama series “The Queen”. His debut appearance was in episode 120. He also starred on “Thuli noThulani” a sitcom produced by SABC 1. Kay’s other TV productions include “Agent”, “The Queen” and “Tropika Island of Treasure”.
