Kavitha Solairajan (born April 1, 1983) is an Indian Actress, who predominantly work in Tamil TV Industry. She is best known for TV series Annakodiyum Aindhu Pengalum (2015) and Nila (2019).^[1]

Kavitha was born and brought up in Salem, Tamil Nadu,India. She completed her schooling from KM Higher Secondary School, Kambili.. She is a graduate of the University of Madras, where she obtained a Bachelor's degree.^[2]

Kavitha made her acting debut in the TV series Anandham” in 2003. It was directed by Cheyyar Ravi and produced by T.G Thyagarajan and aired on Sun TV. Since then she has appeared in many known soap operas like Annakodiyum Aindhu Pengalum (2015-16), Neeli (2016-17), Valli (TV series) Uravugal Sangamam (2013), Velunachi and Kalyanam Mudhal Kadhal Varai. Avalum Naanum (2018), and many more. In 2019, She played supporting role of Revathy/Sujatha' in the TV series 'Nila'.^[14] She is popular of playing supporting and also sometimes negative roles in the soap operas. She has acted with many known actors like Amit Bhargav, Amruth Kalam, Kamal and Lokesh Baskaran and many others.^[3]
