Early Life & Education
Katie Rogers was raised in Elkhart, Indiana. [1] She developed a passion for writing at an early age. When she was 8 years old, she began writing on a typewriter. By the time she was 12 years old, she was blogging.
She graduated from Loyola University Chicago in 2007, earning a Bachelor's degree in Journalism. She received her Master's in Journalism from Northwestern University two years later.
Career
Rogers started her journalism career writing for her hometown paper in Elkhart, Indiana.
She is now a domestic correspondent for the New York Times ' Washington bureau. There she covers the cultural impact of Donald Trump's administration. In particular, she writes about what happens when politics and pop culture intersect.
