Katie Wilson was a sophomore student at Watertown High School. She lived in Watertown, Tennessee but is originally from Portland, Tennessee. ^[5]

Life and Activities

Wilson was an active participant in her high school's community.

She was a member of the Watertown Lady Tigers softball team and was an officer with Future Farmers of America.

^[3]Katie is remembered for being a hardworking student who had a huge heart for others.

Death

In January of 2017, Katie and two other friends were riding in the back of a pickup truck when the vehicle rounded a curve, and Katie fell out of the bed causing a severe brain injury.

On January 26th she was taken off of life support at a Nashville hospital.
