Kathryn Sotnik is an Emmy Award winner American news reporter and journalist who works at the NBC 10 Boston (WBTS-LD) News station, Boston, Massachusetts in United States. She is a very experienced journalist and worked for many newsgroups like BBC Radio, Cnbc and many others.[1]
Early Life
Kathryn was born and brought up the in the small village of Greenville, Rhode Island, USA. She used to watch cartoons and her favorite character is Smurf.[2]
Education
Kathryn competed schooling from he went to Northeastern University in Boston and graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Television and Radio along with minors in Journalism and political science. [3]
Career
Kathryn has vast knowledge of New England area and she has used that extensively to collect information and produce hard-driving and to the point information to the viewers.
Kathryn started her professional career as a reporter for WMGM-TV in Atlantic City, New Jersey. She then joined WMUR-TV in Manchester, New Hampshire as a general assignment reporter. She also worked for WMTW-TV, Portland, Maine. While working for these stations, she covered a wide range of stories with both local and national interests, including interviewing presidential candidates in the 2008.[2][4]
She joined WPRI-TV CBS 12 in Providence, Rhode Island in 2008 worked there for five years before moving to NBC 10 Boston and New England Cable News in 2013 as a General Assignment Reporter. Her first assignment was to cover Boston Marathon bombing in the first week of joining. She reported it not only on Marathon Mondays, but also on on very intense and sad days following. She presented vital information and painful stories that viewers needed to know.[1]

She lives in Boston, MA currently.
She loves to work on Public relations, when she is not working for TV news. She also likes to spend time playing with her daughter, sunning, resting, browsing on the Nordstrom app!
