Kathleen Antonina Capitano is a former teacher at Shallotte Middle School in North Carolina. She received her

Masters in Education and Undergraduate in Integrative Studies with a Concentration in Elementary Education at George Mason University.

She is a video gamer and goes by the name "InitiatedKitten" online.

Allegations

Capitano is accused of traveling to a Herndon, Virginia, hotel to sexually assault a 13-year-old boy whom she met while teaching.

She was arrested on April 16, 2016 by Fairfax County Police and the FBI – Federal Bureau of Investigation and charged with four felony counts of use of communications systems to facilitate certain offenses involving children under 15 years of age.

She has been placed on administrative leave pending the outcome of the investigation.
