Katharine Alexandra Pettijohn (1990-2018) was an actress living in New York City.
Early Life & Education
Pettijohn is a graduate of the Convent of the Sacred Heart (New York City) and Marymount Manhattan College.
The International Society of Poets awarded Katharine the Outstanding Achievement in Poetry Award and her work was soon thereafter published in “Invoking the Muse: The International Library of Poetry” book.
She was accepted into NYU’s prestigious Non-Fiction Writing Program where she workshopped her essays and book, which was accepted in the Sackett Street Writers Non-Fiction Workshop.
Career
Pettijohn was a member of the Screen Actors Guild and was one of thirty actors accepted into Larry Moss' Fall Workshop in New York City.
She also received training at several acclaimed acting studios in Los Angeles and Manhattan.
Her extensive theatre credits included principle roles in productions at Studio 4, Theater for the New City, and the Times Square Theater.
She also had numerous film credits to her name, including playing the lead roles in Director Oday Rasheed's project, “Contact” and in Director Carrie King’s production of “Shell of a Woman.”
