Kate T. Parker (née Kate T. Crowley) is an American photographer and author based in Atlanta. She is best known for Strong is the New Pretty series, which depicts empowering photos of young women being themselves. The series turned into a, which was published in 2017. Her series has led to collaborations with brands like Oxygen, Athleta (a Gap subsidiary), and Kellogg's. [2]
Early Life & Education
Parker graduated from Wake Forest University with a Bachelor's degree in Communications and Media Studies in 1998. [5] While there, she played for the Wake Forest Demon Deacons women's soccer team. [5]
Career

Kate T. Parker is a fine-art photographer by profession. Before that, she worked as a media assistant and video editor for CNN and Thomson Publishing. [7] She then moved to advertising where she became a producer for J. Walter Thompson. [7]
