Kate Bilo is married to Scott Eby, a senior Software engineer by profession. The couple got married on 31 August 2007. They had dated five years prior to their marriage. The couple has three children. The first two are boys while the third one is a girl named Solenne Marit Elisabeth born on May 31, 2017.
Kate Bilo Death Threat
Months before Kate gave birth to her second baby, she was threatened through Twitter messages by a Lansdowne, Pennsylvania man. The man declared that he would kill her in front of her son Leo. However, the man was tracked down and he is sentenced to five years in federal prison.
Career
Kate Bilo began her journalism career at AccuWeather. While there, she worked as TV Meteorologist from September 2005 to September 2010. During her period there, Kate’s main task was to provide forecasts on TV and radio for many AccuWeather clients.
Some of these clients included FOX News, CNBC, ABC News Now, and many local stations. Kate Bilo was also the main morning weather anchor for the Bloomberg Television Network. In October 2010, Kate joined CBS 3 as a chief meteorologist for Eyewitness News weather team. She now works in CBS 3 as a morning and noon meteorologist.
She is a versatile broadcaster, in addition to her weather duties, Kate has twice guest hosted CBS’s Daytime Emmy Award-nominated talk show THE TALK.[6]
