Kataluna Patricia Enriquez is a transwoman and a model by profession. Kataluna who vied for the crown of Miss California USA 2020 made history as the first transgender model to compete in the beauty pageant. She is an American of Filipino descent.[1]
Career
Kataluna has her own label called Kataluna Kouture which specializes in Gowns and Costume.
Raquel Basco Miss International Oceania 2019’s stunning evening gown for her finale was made by Kataluna.
She is not just beautiful but also very talented in her field.
In December 2019, she made a bold announcement that she would be participating in Miss CA USA in San Gabriel
“I’d like to announce that this upcoming January 2020, I will be competing in @Miss CA USA in San Gabriel.
This is a moment that I have been preparing myself for, and I’d like to share this moment with all of you.
This would be an event that would highlight my personal goals and journey but would also bring light to my community.

Miss California USA is a pageant that selects the representative for the state of California in the Miss USA pageant. This pageant is part of Miss Universe Organization. The pageant has been held every year since 1952. Host locations have included Oxnard, California, Palm Springs, California, and Long Beach. However, Kataluna did not win the 2020 edition which was won by Allyshia Gupta of Los Angeles. Participating in Miss California USA is a good booster to Kataluna's confidence and modelling career.
Previously, she was Miss Queen USA by TransNationFestival 2016 and participated in MISS TRANS STAR International Pageant 2016 and Miss International Queen 2018.[2]
