Kassie Lyn Dillon was a 16-year-old who lived in Carlos, Minnesota.

Life and Activities

Kassie is from Barnum, Iowa but moved to Carlos, Minnesota in her youth. She went on to attend Alexandria Area High School. Outside of school, Kassie worked as an employee at the Pizza Ranch. She had dreams of traveling the world in a hippie van. Kassie is remembered as for her bubbly personality, free-spirit, and kindness towards others. ^[4]

Death

Taking a Selfie

During the afternoon of June 28th, Dillon was driving a 2002 Dodge Neon when she was struck by a 2002 Pontiac Grand Prix that failed to stop at an intersection. She later died from her injuries. ^[0]

A GoFundMe was set up to help Kassie's family pay for her funeral. ^[4]
