Karim Babay is an entrepreneur, business executive, and blockchain enthusiast. He is the Chairman & CEO of HealthSapiens, a decentralized healthcare ecosystem. He is also the CEO & CIO of Intrinsic Value Investment Partners, a global investment management firm based in New York City.
While at Columbia, Babay published numerous studies and financial analyses.
Mr. Babay has over 15 years of global investing and corporate finance experience allocating capital across the capital structure (credit and equity), angel investing, liquid and illiquid investments in securities. Mr. Babay started his Wall Street career at Lehman Brothers ' Mergers & Acquisition department.
In 2006, Karim Babay became the Chairman & CEO of HealthSapiens, a healthcare solutions company that aims to connect patients to physicians conveniently. It has since incorporated blockchain technology.
Babay is member of the board of director and Chairman of the compensation committee of GLYECO, a publicly traded company, principally involved in processing of waste into high quality ethylene glycol. Mr Babay also is a member of the Board of Directors of the Arab Bankers Association of North America (ABANA), Overground Arts Alliance, and Chairman of the Board of the Friendship Ambassadors Foundation (FAF).
