On March 17th, 2017, an Apocalyptic billboard of Donald Trump depicted as an Authoritarian statesmen synonymous to Adolf Hitler went up near Grand Avenue near Fillmore Street in Phoenix, Arizona. The billboard has an image of Trump on the center with mushroom clouds behind him and dollar signs designed to resemble Swastikas.
Karen was the sole artist and graphic artist who worked on the billboard.
The billboard lampoons Trump using a medium more common for advertisements about lite beer and HVAC companies.
Reports have reported on the billboard as "menacing, hateful, apocalyptic", which allows for his portrayal to be ridiculing his power as total chaos.
Karen Fiorito has since received multiple death threats. Yet, Karen's goal is to leave the billboard up until Trump's term is over. Karen says the billboard, “represents global destruction, warfare and annihilation of the planet.”
Many of the supporters who have contacted Fiorito regarding the billboard by harassing her and trying to hack into her social media accounts did not realizes that on the back of it, there's another billboard that says "Unity".
This isn’t the first protest piece Fiorito has created.
In 2004, she was responsible for another billboard that criticized the Bush administration for invading Iraq.
