Kareem Shaheen is an Egpytian journalist and author based in Beirut, Lebanon. He is a reporter covering Turkey and The Middle East for The Guardian. [4] [3] [2] [1]
Education
Shaheen graduated from the American University of Sharjah with a B.A. and B.Sc. in journalism and electrical engineering. He went on to attend King's College London, where he received a Master's degree in War studies. [2]
Career
Prior to his work at The Guardian, he worked as a reporter for The Daily Star, covering security and politics, and was a political and defense reporter at The National newspaper in Abu Dhabi. [2]
