Kanupriya Pandit (born October 27) is an Indian film and television and Theatre actress who works primarily in Hindi TV series. She is best known for Milan Talkies (2019), Kasautii Zindagii Kay (2018) and Badrinath Ki Dulhania (2017).^[1]

Kanupriya was born as Kanupriya Shankar in Patna, Bihar. She belongs to Arts family. Her mother 'Ushakiran 'is a recipient of the Padma Shri award (2015). She completed her schooling from private school in Delhi. She studied at Lady Shri Ram College for Women School and graduated from the University of Delhi.^[2]

Kanupriya started doing stage at the age of 6.

She also studied acting at the National School of Drama.

She has acted in many theatre plays in her career.

She has acted in many famous Hindi soap operas like ‘Kuch Toh Hai Tere Mere Darmiyaan’ (2015-2016), ‘Half Marriage (TV series)’ (2017-2018),^[2]

She made her Bollywood debut in the film Badrinath Ki Dulhania in 2017. ^[12] She played the character of 'Vaidehi (Alia Bhatt)'s mother in the film. She also featured in drama film 'Milan Talkies' in 2019. She was part of the soap opera Kasautii Zindagii Kay (2018-19) ^[11] which was aired on Star Plus. She made her web series debut in the romantic comedy series Pawan & Pooja (TV Series).^[1]
