Kadia Goba (Journalist) attended Hunter College, New York (NY) from 2015 to 2019 where she obtained Bachelor of Arts in the field of Journalism with GPA : 3.5 .[16]

Career
She worked at The WORD, Hunter College, New York from January 2016 to December 2017 as Senior Editor. She served as United Nations correspondent during General Assembly Meetings, provided coverage of city-wide and collegiate news and covered the New York Film Festival and Tribeca Film Festival.
From April 2017 to April 2018, she worked at Kings County Politics, Brooklyn, NY, as Editor-At-Large. She covered and report on the political landscape of Brooklyn including elections and community events, interviewed local politicians, public officials and political candidates, reported on gubernatorial and mayoral legislation and its impact on various communities and political commentating on BK Live (video).
From January 2018 to April 2018, Kadia worked at NY1 – Spectrum News, New York, as Political Unit Intern. She provided research for upcoming Inside City Hall segments, wrote headlines, character generators and intros for reporter packages, and transcribed audio and edited videos for broadcast and social media.[15]

In 2018, she was awarded the Pulitzer Center’s Crisis Reporting Fellowship which sponsored her travels to Sierra Leone, W. Africa to report on environmental strategies.
The same year she won the Society of Professional Journalists Deadline Scholarship.[18]
Currently, She is working as Congressional Reporter (Full-time ) at BuzzFeed, Washington D.C.
