On Wednesday April 11, 2018, Haney was killed in a murder suicide at her home.

Deputies and EMS paramedics responded at 6:30 a.m. to her home at 182 Lonon Lane.

When deputies arrived, they found the bodies of Kacey Haney and Christopher Childres inside the home.

Jeffrey Haney's body was found outside the home.

Authorities stated that Jeffrey Haney may have shot the other two then turned the gun on himself after making the initial call to 911.
