Junior Bueno was a student at Grand Junction High School. Bueno was a member of the Grand Junction Tigers Baseball team. Although Junior was born in Colorado, his parents had immigrated from Mexico.

Junior was the youngest of four siblings, hence the name "Junior".

He was an outspoken critic of Donald Trump very early on, starting from the Spring of 202015 15.

On November 2, 2016, Bueno committed suicide at a parking lot at Grand Junction High School. Bueno died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

Junior's final post on Facebook indicated a fascination with the otherworldly. Junior was a Christian and believed in heaven, hell, God and Jesus. Junior had lost his grandmother, with whom he was very close, to cancer in 2015, which may have caused his depression.

After his death, friends and family paid tribute to him and the awareness of suicide on social media. His family have set up a Go Fund Me to help raise funds for his funeral.
