Price graduated from the University of Miami in 2007 with a Bachelor's degree in creative writing and broadcast journalism. ^[11]

She worked as a green-room coordinator at Good Morning America and was working as a waitress at night while also playing live shows at New York City's The Bitter End. ^[14]
