The Juice Bowl Football Classic is annual event that takes place on Thanskgiving Day at Shawnee Park in the cite of Louisville, Kentucky. [1] Several teams of unisex players gather to play the game of American football as other members of the city gather to celebrate and have a good time. Various groups from the community attend the event usually happening throughout the afternoon.
2016 Shooting
During the gathering amongst members of the city of Louisville and the game of American football that happens every year, shootings occurred that left two people dead and four others wounded. Mayor Greg Fischer was an attendee and stood 200 ft. away from the shooting that took place. FBI and Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives joined for an investigation into the shootings as the gunmen got away. The motives for the shootings are unclear.
